A set of Contemporary Photography projects with a particular focus on Architecture, City and Territory, communicated through video projection and photography, are being exhibited at Avenida dos Aliados and São Bento’s OARSN stations.

These exhibitions, curated by Pedro Leão Neto, are the result of the desire for collaboration between the Visual Spaces of Change (VSC) project and Ci.CLO Bienal Fotografia do Porto 2019, with a view to stimulating critical thinking on the themes of Architecture, City and Territory through the holding of exhibitions of Contemporary Photography in public spaces and collective use located in the Metropolitan Area of Porto.

Visual Spaces of Change (VSC), a transdisciplinary research project with a significant component of Contemporary Photography, combined with complementary research in Spatial Syntax and Information Technologies, will be present at Ci.CLO 2019.

The collaboration between the VSC and Ci.CLO is materialized through the operationalization of a curatorial project associated with a set of activities that cross the universes of photography and editorial in two complementary ways: (i) Exhibition of Contemporary Photography (CPP) projects communicated through video and photography projection in several public and collective use spaces located in the Metropolitan Area of Porto (AMP), and (ii) Exhibition of alternative publications for the dissemination of authors and works with particular focus on Architecture, City and Territory Photography.
