This seminar is part of a set of initiatives linked to the pedagogical dimension of the Visual Spaces of Change (VSC) project. In this context, researchers and teachers linked to the project intend to encourage students from curricular units to develop work on case studies in the Porto Metropolitan Area, with the goal of valuing and giving visibility to emerging dynamics of change in public space. The territories under study will be used for the creation of photographic projects about the identity and transformation of urban places. The seminar aims to explore a set of tools, documentary and artistic photography strategies and visual research methodologies especially suitable to analyze and theorize different dimensions of public space from the disciplinary crossroads of Architecture, Art, Photography and Urbanism.
