Collaborative structure

The project is developed by the research group Architecture, Art and Image (AAI) from the Centre for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism (CEAU) in the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) and the laboratory Lab2PT (School of Architecture) and the Center Algoritmi (School of Engineering) from the University of Minho.

Pedro Leão Neto is the Principal Investigator of the project, which is structured according to the various scientific contributions: i) the Information and Communications Technology component is coordinated by the CO-PI, Luis Gonzaga Magalhães (Centro Algorimti) and by Pedro Bandeira (Lab2PT); ii) the Art and Architecture is coordinated by Pedro Leão Neto (AAI/CEAU) with the research team: : Iñaki Bergera (CEAU/FAUP), João Carlos Castro Ferreira (CEAU/FAUP), Marco Iuliano (CEAU/FAUP), Manuel Joaquim Soeiro Moreno (CEAU/FAUP), José Miguel Neto Viana Brás Rodrigues (CEAU/FAUP), Susana Patrícia Ventura Rodrigues (CEAU/FAUP), Iñaki Bergera (CEAU/FAUP), João Carlos Castro Ferreira (CEAU/FAUP), Marco Iuliano (CEAU/FAUP), Manuel Joaquim Soeiro Moreno (CEAU/FAUP), José Miguel Neto Viana Brás Rodrigues (CEAU/FAUP), Susana Patrícia Ventura Rodrigues (CEAU/FAUP), Eduardo Silva (AAI/CEAU), Joana Rodrigues (AAI/CEAU), José Barbedo (AAI/CEAU) e Miguel Santos (AAI/CEAU); collaboration team: Né Santelmo (Art director) e Rita Silva (Photography / webdesign).

Visual Spaces of Change gathers a diversified set of institutions and researchers, architects, curators, photographers and authors in the field of visual arts, in an exercise of joint reflexivity around common concerns linked to the transformation of the territory, the public space and the environment. The active colaboration of that ample network of institutional actors seeks to enlarge its capacity to intervene in its social reality through concerted actions.
