"(inter)ACTIONS" intends to draw a path through the area of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, where a visual narrative that merges the exterior and the interior spaces is developed. In the first, the narrative is focused on the presence of the same element that appears repeated indirectly through reflections and allegorical visual moments, which allow and have the intention of figuring the transparent relationship between the two. Inside, on the other hand, -- having as a reference the work of Paulo Catrica, Liceus -- a narrative that portrays the simultaneous of an absent but present spatial character is explored. The focus of a look through the momentarily empty spaces of the faculty, which combine silence with movement and a chaotic dynamic -- intrinsic to the character of every School -- implicit in them ... This duality exterior space / interior space of the narrative is expressed through the use of photography in black and white, which introduces a tonal dichotomy. In this way, we aim for a visual statement that explores the dynamics of the spatial appropriation of this faculty, when used or empty -- which, due to the context of the pandemic, is becoming a reality ...
